SteamOS Review

SteamOS is an operating system that lets you run Steam games without the need for a Windows operating system. Based on Debian (a Linux distribution), SteamOS offers the entire catalog of Steam games, as well as all compatible Debian applications accessible on a TV. Although it's still in the very early stages, SteamOS has plans to become a major operating system for gamers that will be compatible with PCs and Steam Machine game consoles.
