Codeanywhere is a free browser extension and Chrome OS applet also available for countless other platforms. AS the name boasts, it runs on almost any modern platform. It also has compatibility with GitHub, Dropbox and other off-site utilities that a developer might use. It also has syntax highlighting for more than 75 languages. On the other hand, Codeanywhere has a few features, including the Dropbox client, that do not always work perfectly, and it is not compatible with every keyboard, particularly software keyboards, on every device. It is still worth use by any often-practicing coder, however.
